The earliest Porsche 911 and 912 models came with characterful wooden dash inserts. Over time, many of these original dash inserts have suffered from dryness and cracking, been modified to fit later radios & other equipment, or even replaced with later trim pieces.

Many EB Motorsport customers have admired our SWB Porsche 911 race car’s original factory wooden dash panels. Obtaining replacement wood panels to match the original grain for early cars proved impossible, so we began researching the construction and finish of early Porsche wooden dash inserts.

Painstakingly manufactured to replicate the original parts, the wood used is a variety of African Mahogany with colour and grain that is most reminiscent of the factory items. The precisely cut parts are finished with bevelled edges for an added touch of elegance.
